Hot Fontina Cheese Dip

 




5 oz. block fontina cheese

1 tsp olive oil

1/4 teaspoon orange zest

pinch each of thyme and crushed rosemary

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 425

Cube fontina into 1/2 inch cubes.  Toss cheese cubes with remaining ingredients in an oven sage dish.

I used a 4 inch glass pie pan.

Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is totally melted.  

Serve with crostini and sliced green apples for dipping/spreading.
