Ingredients:
1 box family size brownie mix and ingredients listed on the box
1 tsp instant espresso powder
1 Tbls. dark cocoa powder
1 Tbls. vanilla
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
3 Tbls. butter
3 Tbls. powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven as recommended on brownie box.
Whisk together dry brownie mix, cocoa and espresso powder in medium bowl. In small bowl mix wet ingredients listed on brownie box (typically eggs, oil and water) with 1 Tbls. vanilla. Mix wet ingredients with dry just until combined. Stir in peanut butter chips if you are using. Pour mix into a well greased 8X8 baking pan.
In small sauce pan melt together peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar.
Spoon warm peanut butter mixture on top of brownie batter. Swirl peanut butter into batter. Bake according to package directions.
