Ingredients:
6 pears cored or 2 cans pear halves in 100% juice cut into 1
inch pieces
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 Tbls. Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 ½ cups rolled oats
1 ¼ cup walnuts
¼ cup honey
¼ cup plus 2 Tbls. Butter Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons extra liquid pear juice or water
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 Tbls. Cranberry Pear Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1 ½ cups rolled oats
1 ¼ cup walnuts
¼ cup honey
¼ cup plus 2 Tbls. Butter Olive Oil
2 Tablespoons extra liquid pear juice or water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Toss pear pieces and cranberries with lemon
juice, additional liquid and balsamic. Place fruit in ungreased 2 quart casserole
dish (or 9 inch deep dish pie plate).
Put 1 cup walnuts and ½ cup oats in food processor and grind into a fine
powder. In small bowl stir together
ground walnuts, ground oats, remaining rolled oats, honey, olive oil and
cinnamon. Add remaining walnut pieces
and stir until well combined. Sprinkle
evenly over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees
for 25 to 35 minutes.
